- idled fine, cruised fine - bad hesitation when cold - boost came on quickly but power wasn't there, severe power loss - random stuttering/hesitation - timing did NOT wander when checking it, was very stable - PTU loop claimed I was at 15 when CAS was turned 3/4ths counterclockwise, spark plug wire on #1 revealed impossible to get to 15, even turned all the way counterclockwise it would be at 0 degree timing (that's zero). turning it clockwise and timing went into the abyss past 0 (negative timing?) and car would want to die
